I can't wait for 60⁰ nights.
And North of the wall, we shall freeze as well. Hopefully my peas are warm enough under ground
It’s supposed to be 31 in Wappinger on Thursday morning. Why aren’t we included in the Freeze warning?
⚠️🔥 Special Weather Statement issued April 22 at 6:38PM EDT by NWS Binghamton NY
4/22/2024 18:38 EDT through 4/23/2024 20:00 EDT
WHERE…
Counties of Northern Oneida; Yates; Seneca; Southern Cayuga; Onondaga; Steuben; Schuyler; Chemung; Tompkins; Madison; Southern Oneida; Cortland; Chenango; Otsego; Tioga; Broome; Delaware; Sullivan
Dry conditions with gusty winds are expected across the region on Tuesday. Minimum relative humidity values will drop as low as 20 percent in some areas with south to southwest wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph during the afternoon. Although this Spring has been wet, fine fuels such as dead grass and leaf litter will quickly dry out in these conditions. If any fires were to start, the windy and dry weather will increase the risk of wildfire spread, making it difficult to contain. The annual statewide burn ban is in effect until May 14th.
🔥🚫 No burn permits are issued.

Fine fuels, such as grass and leaf litter, will continue to dry across the region on Tuesday. This combined with low relative humidity values of 25 to 35 percent and south to southwest winds gusting 20 to 30 mph may have an impact on fire weather conditions. If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain.
🔥🚫 The annual statewide burn ban is in effect until May 14th. No burn permits are issued.

What will the temperature be overnight near the Ashokan Reservoir? I need to know whether to drag my plants in from my screen porch. Thank you!
Wish everyone adhered to burn ban😡
Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge I hope the controlled burn has been extinguished completely ahead of tmws fire weather warning. Those of us who border the refuge would def appreciate it.
