Breaks of sunshine now being reported around the region as we reach mid day. The rain has moved to our east, and for the rest of the day, we’ll see decreasing clouds, and increasing wind out of the west. Temps near 50° as we approach mid day, will begin to fall later this afternoon. That sets the stage for a cold weekend, more typical of what we would expect this time of year.
Some buzz also beginning to increase about the threat for snow next week. We’re tracking a storm that should develop early next week and move toward the Hudson Valley. The pattern and computer guidance both suggest an event that starts as snow, then mixes with sleet and freezing rain is possible, if not likely… in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame. We’ll have more discussion on it tonight, and into the weekend. For now… enjoy the rest of your Friday!
