Happy Star Wars Day Hudson Valley… as both the force and the 4th are with us. The force is strong enough to bring us a couple of days of beautiful weather.
Monday …. will see mostly sunny skies and a chilly start to the day, with morning lows in the upper 30s & low 40s. A persistent southwest wind will be ushering in milder air to the valley… so afternoon highs in the valley should climb to around 70°. Monday night lows should be a bit milder, with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Tuesday …. our warm southwest wind continues to usher in some early summer like temperatures. Afternoon highs on Tuesday should top out around 80°, which is about 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year. A sign that the weather “force” is indeed with us.
Beyond Tuesday, we’ll see another rebel cold front invading the Hudson Valley. It will bring periods of rain to the Hudson Valley by Wednesday morning, and that could lead to a very soggy Wednesday around the region. Preliminary rainfall totals appear likely to be around a half inch to 3/4 of an inch. We’ll have more on the rain potential between Mon & Tue.
For now… enjoy the beautiful start to the work week! Some late spring weather should be very welcome for many of us! May the 4th be with all of you!!
