After a fabulous weekend of weather, where we saw tons of sunshine and blue sky… not to mention highs around 80° with low humidity… our work week will start out on an unsettled note. Quite a nice variation from the instances where it rains all weekend, before clearing up nicely just in time for the work week.
Futurecast Radar: 8am Monday – 8am Tuesday
Clouds will increase through the region early on Monday, and that will help keep temperatures near or below 70° for the majority of the region. Rain showers will begin to develop around the HV as we near mid day. Rain showers then likely increase through the afternoon. From that point on, we’ll be dealing with the threat of showers and even a rumble or two of thunder, straight through Monday night. You can see on the futurecast radar, that the rain likely tapers off toward sunrise on Tuesday.
By the time the rain tapers off, we’ll likely see rainfall amounts around 1 inch on average.
Behind the storm, things quiet down and become rather cool and breezy. Tuesday looks rather breezy with gradually clearing skies as the day wears on, and highs in the low to mid 70s. So once we get through a soggy start to the week, we’ll see conditions improving for the middle of the week. Have a great start to your week!
