Monday’s Weather : Chilly but Seasonable

As we enter Thanksgiving week, the weather will start out quiet on Monday with clouds mixing with sunshine, and afternoon highs in the upper 40s to near 50°, which is close to where we should be for this time of year.

Monday night will be mostly clear and seasonably chilly with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s around the Hudson Valley. Tuesday clouds will move back in with temperatures once again in the upper 40s… and scattered showers expected to move in during the afternoon hours, associated with a warm front. Rain showers will likely impact the Tuesday evening commute, but should taper off by midnight Tuesday night.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, with mostly cloudy skies and afternoon temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60°. Another round of rain showers are possible Wednesday night, before an arctic front pushes through before dawn on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving day looks partly cloudy… blustery and cold, with NW winds making afternoon temperatures in the low 40s feel like the 30s. Winter’s chill will continue to invade the Hudson Valley more on Black Friday and into next weekend. We’ll have another post to discuss the likelihood of a much colder weather pattern as we close out the month of November, and head into December.

Have a great start to the week!!
