When will the humidity break and cooler drier air return ?

Looking at the latest weather models for dew points, there’s only a small window tomorrow morning (Sunday) to feel a little cooler and then the humidity kicks back into high gear again. The relief is not in sight till next week after a cold front passes our area from Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Right now, the western half of the U.S. has been below average for temperatures with the mountains getting close to the freezing mark.
Week 2 Temperature Outlook
Next week, the western U.S. will see above average temperatures and the eastern half of the U.S. will see below to near normal temperatures. It will mean much lower dew points meaning cooler temps, and the higher the dew points, the more humid it is.
So, relief could possibly be in sight by next Thursday. We will keep you updated.
