The weekend is here, and many are hoping for some nice spring weather. Well those people are in luck… because a beautiful Saturday is on tap for the Hudson Valley.
Mostly sunny skies are expected across the Hudson Valley for Saturday morning. Winds out of the west/southwest at 5 to 10mph will usher in milder air to the region, and give us a very nice afternoon. Temperatures across the Hudson Valley will rise from the upper 30s and low 40s early in the morning… into the mid and upper 60s by early afternoon. An approaching storm system from the Ohio Valley will bring more and more clouds into the area during the afternoon hours, and mainly cloudy skies by early evening.
Futurecast Radar : Sunday 2am to 2pm
Low pressure will push to the Mid Atlantic Saturday evening, and that should spread rain into the Hudson Valley near or shortly after midnight. The heaviest areas of rain will be focused in the lower Hudson Valley and points south of our viewing area. But a periods of steady rain is expected during the late evening and overnight hours… before tapering off to showers during the morning on Sunday. As it looks right now, the storm may move out early enough on Sunday, that some breaks of sunshine may make an appearance before the end of the afternoon on Sunday.
So the weekend will start out wonderful for outdoor activity, before giving us some much needed rainfall Saturday night into Sunday. Hopefully before the rain arrives, you can find a way to enjoy your Saturday! Thanks for the continued support!
