Saturday Discussion – Stellar June Start

A gorgeous 1st day of June across the Hudson Valley, as we continue to try and put the rainy days of May behind us.  This weekend will feature an early summer pattern, where the daytime looks great, but some scattered T-Storms will develop over the Catskills and push SE as the sun sets.  The image below is the futurecast radar for 8pm tonight.

You can see some showers and embedded storms projected to be moving into the area near sunset.

So for our Saturday expect lots of sunshine and blue skies, with some afternoon fair weather clouds.  Highs will top out right around 80 degrees in most places, and humidity levels look rather comfortable.  We’ll track scattered showers and thunderstorms around the region from 6pm to midnight… so expect the threat of rain if you have evening plans.  The storms are not projected to be severe, but we’ll monitor the situation.

Sunday looks almost exactly the same as Saturday.  The threat of late afternoon and evening showers and storms… with highs right around 80 degrees.  Things cool off dramatically to start the work week, but our weekend weather is looking great!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
