Another day where we just can’t catch a break in the Hudson Valley. Low clouds, fog and drizzle won’t seem to give way… and it’s making for a cool and damp start to the weekend.
If you glance at the radar, it looks quiet… But if you look closer, can barely see the spotty green specs on the radar, indicating the truth in terms of the weather.
Unfortunately, breaking free of the low clouds and drizzle is going to be difficult. Without a strong mid level breeze to stir up the atmosphere and push the low clouds out… we may be stuck with this weather through the afternoon. It’s hard to be certain… but we may be able to get the drizzle to stop, and the clouds to break slowing us to see a few breaks of afternoon sun, but only time will tell.
For now, expect mainly cloudy skies and periods of drizzle to continue into the afternoon hours… keeping our temps in the 50s to low 60s.
