The rain showers over the last 12 to 18 hours are seeing the back edge just exiting the region as we approach mid day.
Futurecast Radar: 11am to 8pm
But don’t expect the conditions to improve very quickly this afternoon. We’re going to hold onto the clouds, patchy fog, and spotty light drizzle. There won’t be any sunshine and blue skies rushing in later today. Temperatures in the mean time, will hold firmly in the upper 30s to mid 40s. That will give us a very raw feel across the region this afternoon.
That will continue, as we head into tonight, before we see the wind increase out of the west overnight. That should help scatter the clouds from the region as we head into Monday morning. So hopefully some sunshine will mix into the region for our afternoon on Monday, with temps possibly touching the 50° mark in some spots. Before we see temperatures begin to tumble back into Tuesday and the middle of the week.
