As we move through a beautiful weekend, with lots of sunshine and temps around 60° for afternoon highs, a lot of questions are buzzing about the Trick-or-treat weather for Halloween on Monday night. In short, the weather looks to cooperate, and not interfere much with everyone’s trick-or-treat plans.
Futurecast Radar : 4pm to 10pm Monday
Trick-or-Treat Weather – 4pm to 10pm Monday:
Mostly cloudy skies, with a few spotty light rain showers possible, especially after dark. Temps near 60° before sunset… with temps falling through the 50s, to near 50° by 10pm.
A ridge over the eastern US will send a weak disturbance up the east coast late on Monday. The disturbance will weaken as it moves in, and won’t have much moisture with it. This graphic shows the futurecast radar from 4pm to 10pm on Monday evening. You can see the Hudson Valley should remain mainly dry until after trick-or-treat comes to an end. So while it won’t be the nicest weather possible… it looks like a fine evening for trick-or-treating. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and have a great Halloween!
