A cool, early spring day across the Hudson Valley. Our winds are out of the west/northwest, and that’s providing us a good number of clouds… and chilly conditions. Highs this afternoon should struggle into the mid 50s. That will make for an afternoon that feels more like mid March instead of mid April. The threat for rain showers and drizzle should hold off until late tonight.
Overnight, a weak SE flow will likely draw moisture up the Hudson Valley, leading to areas of patchy fog and drizzle for the Friday AM commute.
Futurecast Radar : Friday 7am
Temperatures will likely be in the upper 30s to low 40s… so ice is NOT a concern. However, damp and slick conditions are possible with wet roads. Friday looks rather unsettled throughout, as the SE flow keeps us with patchy drizzle and spotty showers through the day. Highs will struggle toward 60°, but likely fall short.
Saturday looks fantastic at the moment, with increasing sunshine, and a warm SW winds. This could be the nicest day of 2019 so far. We’ll have to wait and see…
Projected High Temperatures for Saturday
Have a great afternoon!
