Another summer day in store for the Hudson Valley, with heat and humidity building during the late morning hours, under a partly cloudy sky. Temps should climb into the mid and upper 80s by early afternoon around the region.

A weak boundary is likely to touch off scattered showers and T-Storms across central NY beginning around mid day. A broken line of scattered showers & T-Storms should develop near I-90, and begin pushing southward toward the Hudson Valley during the early afternoon. These showers & storms will have the potential to be severe, with the main threat being damaging wind gusts. The Hudson Valley is in an area of “Slight Risk” which means roughly a 15% to 30% chance of severe T-storms occuring in your area. The threat is likely to last through the PM commute on Thursday
We’ll keep our eye on the developing event for Thursday, and share any updates as needed as we get closer. Make sure you factor this potential threat into your Thursday plans. Have a great start to your day, Hudson Valley!
