Thursday Weather Discussion : Next Rain System Approaches

Our Thursday should start out partly to mostly cloudy, with increasing clouds through the morning.

By early afternoon skies will be mainly cloudy with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll see a few scattered rain showers develop during the afternoon into the early evening. By sunset we’ll begin seeing more widespread rain showers. Periods of light to moderate rain are expected through the night on Thursday night, with temperatures falling into the upper 40s.

Friday looks unsettled and raw, with low clouds and patchy drizzle keeping temperatures pinned in the low to mid 50s. A raw and chilly day to close out the work week on Friday. How much rain we see remains to be seen. The heaviest rain amounts are expected to remain off to our west, but up to a half inch of rain appears possible by Friday evening… before tapering off but remaining cloudy as we head into Saturday.

We’ll keep an eye on the weather forecast over the next 2 days. For now, we hope you enjoy the start to your Thursday before the unsettled weather rolls in. From there, make sure you keep an umbrella and the rain gear handy for Thursday night into Friday. Thanks for your continued support of HVW!
