TUESDAY: Hazy, hot and humid… with partly cloudy skies. High near 90°.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies. Low around 60°.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High 70° to 75°.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Evening showers followed by clearing skies overnight. Low in the mid 50s.
THURSDAY: Partly to mostly sunny skies and beautiful. High in the mid to upper 70s.
The heat will build on Tuesday as our flow will be out of the south ahead of a front for Wednesday. That means temps climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s around the Hudson Valley. Humidity levels don’t appear too bad, with dew points in the upper 50s to around 60° expected. That usually makes for a rather comfortable heat, keeping real feel temps close to the actual air temperature. An isolated evening shower can’t be ruled out (20% chance), but most of us stay dry on Tuesday.
Wednesday could be a bit of a different story, with the cold front approaching from the northwest. Clouds will be more common, with a shower possible through the day. But the best chance for showers & T-Storms is late afternoon or early evening on Wed. We’ll keep an eye on that for Wednesday.
Then some cooler air moves in for Thursday, highs in the mid to upper 70s expected. We’ll watch an area of rain showers that could move through the area Thursday night into Friday morning, before leaving us with a nice Friday afternoon. There is a chance those showers pass by to our south, so another thing to monitor.
Otherwise, we hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
