A storm system over the Midwest will push toward the Northeast on Tuesday. But the system will be weakening as it does. It will spread clouds into the region during the morning hours, and a stray shower or two can’t be ruled out. But the day should be mainly dry. Temps should climb into the mid and upper 60s for afternoon highs.
After the first system weakens and moves through, a second system on Wednesday will approach the region, and that should bring a round of rain Wednesday night into Thursday AM. Rainfall totals could approach 1 inch with the system Wednesday night. We’ll keep our eyes on this system and update Tuesday night.
