Wednesday Discussion : Unsettled 48 Hours Ahead

An extended period of unsettled weather across the Hudson Valley, with mainly cloudy skies and temperatures primarily in the 60s. Areas of scattered showers will be possible now through sunrise on Friday… with the best chance of rain in the Hudson Valley will be during the daytime hours on Thursday, persisting into Thursday night. The further west you head, the better chances for higher amounts of rain. Most of us are likely to see 0.25″ to 0.5″ of rain by Friday morning… but higher elevations and the Catskills could see over 1″ of rain in some cases.
Despite the official start of Summer on Tuesday, the spring-like weather continues. Good news though for the ‘Summer weather lovers’… heat returns for the weekend, with highs on Saturday and Sunday expected in the upper 80s to low 90s. Enjoy your afternoon!
