Weekend Outlook : Stellar Saturday… Showery Sunday

A mixed bag of weather this weekend across the Hudson Valley…
– Saturday… starts out great, with lots of sunshine mixing with fair weather clouds. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid and upper 80s around the region, but humidity levels should be a bit better than Friday. So the ‘real feel’ temperatures Saturday afternoon should be very close to the air temperatures. Average highs for this time of year are in the mid 80s… so we should a little higher than average for highs on Saturday. All in all, a great mid summer day!

– Saturday night… the clouds move in ahead of a weak upper air disturbance. Scattered rain showers are likely to develop Saturday around midnight, and continue into the early morning on Sunday. Expect a damp start to your Sunday, with morning lows right around 70° expected.
– Sunday… Mostly cloudy skies expected with scattered morning showers, that should taper off before noon in most areas. Breaks of sun are possible early in the afternoon, which could touch off a few isolated showers and T-Storms Sunday afternoon. Highs on Sunday should be right around 80°… but the weather on Sunday looks rather unsettled for much of the day. The good news is that we could use some rainfall in many areas… and about a half inch to an inch of rain looks possible at this time.

We’ll keep our eye on the details for Sunday, and try to share updates later on Saturday. Have a great start to your weekend!!
