After a scorching start to last week, we saw a cool and cloudy finish to the week. Now as we head into the weekend, we should see a fairly decent weekend with near normal temperatures.

Saturday should see a mix of clouds and sunshine, with temperatures starting out in the upper 50s and low 60s… climbing into the low and mid 80s for afternoon highs. We’re watching the threat for a broken line of showers and T-Storms to develop to our north near sunset. That line could push into our area after dark. Right now, the threat for severe weather looks quite low, but we’ll keep our eye on it. The timing for the shower threat is roughly between 6pm and 10pm.

Sunday looks similar to Saturday… minus the rain threat. After morning lows in the mid 60s, we’ll see sunshine mixing with clouds, and afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid 80s once again. Humidity levels look to be fairly comfortable for this weekend, so ‘real feel’ temperatures should be close to the air temperatures.
Maybe not a fully dry weekend for all of us, and maybe not a picture-perfect weekend… but looks pretty darn good compared to our weekends over the last few months. Have a great weekend!!
