We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July, and that your weekend is off to a great start! The sunshine mixes with clouds on Saturday and we’ll see afternoon highs in the mid 80s around the region. The humidity levels should remain rather low, like what we saw on Friday. So a beautiful, comfortable heat for a mid summer day around the Hudson Valley.
After waking up to temps in the mid and upper 50s Saturday morning, we’ll see a bit more humidity moving in Saturday night, so overnight lows won’t fall as low as the past couple nights, with overnight lows in the mid 60s expected.

On Sunday, we’ll see increasing sunshine… the heat will climb and humidity will be a bit higher than previous days. Afternoon highs on Sunday look to be in the upper 80s to low 90s around the region, with ‘real feel’ temps in the low 90s. But once again… no showers or T-storms are expected on Sunday… so a dry weekend on tap for our region. A welcome change from the past couple months.
Next chance for rain is likely Monday night into Tuesday… as the low pressure disturbance off the SE coast that we’re tracking may interact with a frontal boundary and spread moisture up the east coast. That could translate into rain showers and scattered T-Storms between Monday night and Tuesday. Something we’ll be tracking.
Have a great Independence Day Weekend!!
-Bill
